The Visa Thing…

For the record, I’d be the first to admit I’m not a genius. The visa is given to those in the arts, athletics, business & sciences who have extraordinary abilities. You don’t have to be a genius to be a good fashion model, actor, baseball player or track and field star. You just have to achieve a certain level of success in your field, which I have done. I took me many months to put the application together – no strings were pulled, no extra cash was paid, no favours done – I got it because clearly they felt I deserved it.

Hello!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here – I’m mostly on Twitter these days – but I just wanted to thank you for stopping by and please feel free to say hello :)

Fan Blog

Some awesome fans have started a little blog about me. I don’t contribute to it (or else it wouldn’t be a fan blog…) but I do give them goodies for it every now & then. You can check it out here: http://sherabechard.blogspot.com

Sweet Karma

I just want to thank everyone for all the kind words regarding my role in Sweet Karma. It was both fun and challenging doing the film, but the most amazing thing about it is how people are responding to it. I didn’t grow up with dreams of being an actress or wanting stardom, but to hear so many positive compliments from everyone makes me very happy. And for those who have asked, yes I am looking at doing another film, but I’m not rushing into anything. It has to be the right film/role for me to want to do it – so when the right opportunity comes along I will consider it.

Also, for those who were touched by the subject matter of Sweet Karma, I encourage you to make a donation to either Redlight Children or International Justice Mission.
